Position Summary:
The Division of General Internal Medicine/Geriatrics, within the Department of Internal Medicine, is seeking a detailed and organized professional who learns new softwareeasily and enjoys interacting with different people, this medical educationcoordinator position offers excellent opportunities. Our program coordinatorwill manage day-to-day administrative, operational, and fiscal activities ofGeneral Internal Medicine and Geriatrics Residency, Fellowship, and Internshipprograms. This is a busy and dynamic position working in a collaborative andfriendly team. The medical education program coordinator will serve as animportant liaison and facilitator, problem-solver and communicator. Thesuccessful candidate will have proven success in a team environment and possessthe following qualities: data management and computer/software aptitude;ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously; be responsive and verydetail-oriented; value exceptional customer service; and strictly maintain confidentiality.
This role requires strong attention to detail, the abilityto manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, and excellentcommunication skills. The coordinator works closely with program leadership,faculty, residents, and patients, serving as a central point of contact forprogrammatic, clinical, and administrative functions.
