Job Description

Director, Partnerships Operations

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director, Partnerships Operations based in United States.

This role will lead the operational strategy and execution behind a growing portfolio of strategic partnerships.
You will help build a scalable partnerships operating model spanning onboarding, contracting, enablement, marketplace launches, and ongoing partner management.
Working closely with senior leaders across Sales, Services, Finance, Legal, Operations, and other functions, you will turn strategic partnerships into executable growth opportunities.
The role combines strategic problem-solving with hands-on ownership, requiring someone comfortable moving between high-level initiatives and detailed operational execution.
You will establish processes, systems, reporting, and operating rhythms that improve visibility, accountability, efficiency, and partner activation.
With responsibility for a broad and evolving ecosystem of technology and marketplace partners, your work will directly support revenue growth and operational excellence.
This is an opportunity to build a high-impact function within a fast-paced, globally distributed organization.

Accountabilities
  • Lead the end-to-end operational lifecycle for strategic partnerships, from partner identification and onboarding through contracting, enablement, marketplace listing, launch, tier progression, and ongoing reviews.
  • Own high-volume partner administration, including registrations, applications, data collection, documentation, certifications, training requirements, and partner portal management.
  • Build and manage the operational infrastructure needed to scale an expanding ecosystem of hyperscalers, AI companies, compute providers, model companies, and marketplace partners.
  • Coordinate cross-functional inputs and dependencies across Practice Leaders, Sales, Legal, Finance, Operations, and other internal stakeholders to ensure partnership initiatives progress on schedule.
  • Manage partner program requirements, certifications, benefits, commitments, and tier progression to maximize the value generated from each relationship.
  • Translate signed partnerships into executable go-to-market motions by coordinating sales enablement, marketplace listings, co-sell processes, and internal adoption.
  • Establish and lead partnership operating cadences, including steering committee meetings, portfolio reviews, status tracking, milestone management, blocker resolution, and clear ownership of next steps.
  • Develop repeatable workflows, documentation, tracking mechanisms, and systems that reduce manual execution and enable the partnership portfolio to scale efficiently.
  • Take ownership of priority partnership initiatives while exercising sound independent judgment and balancing strategic improvements with day-to-day execution.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline onboarding, administration, certification, enablement, and partner management processes.
  • Establish clear frameworks and metrics for partnership health, performance, lifecycle management, tier progression, enablement, co-sell readiness, and ongoing partner engagement.
  • Provide senior stakeholders with visibility into portfolio performance, risks, dependencies, opportunities, and operational priorities.
  • Continuously evolve the Partnerships Operations model as strategic partnerships become increasingly integrated into broader go-to-market initiatives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • 8+ years of experience in partnerships operations, business operations, professional services, sales operations, process improvement, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in partnerships strategy and program management.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage strategic initiatives alongside day-to-day operational responsibilities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Strong ownership mindset with the ability to operate effectively at both strategic and executional levels.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to coordinate diverse teams and priorities.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
  • Experience managing complex workflows, portfolios, processes, and operating cadences with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Salesforce, Tableau, Claude, Gemini, Slack, Google Sheets, Google Docs, and BigQuery.
  • Ability to prioritize competing demands, manage deadlines, and maintain high-quality execution across a wide range of initiatives.
  • Comfortable working independently in a globally distributed and highly collaborative environment.
  • Strong individual contributor who is willing to take hands-on ownership rather than relying solely on delegation.
  • Ability to attend scheduled virtual meetings reliably, use digital collaboration tools effectively, and self-manage workflows and priorities.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire; visa sponsorship or assistance is not available.
  • Applications and professional communication must be submitted in English.
Benefits
  • Competitive base salary with eligibility for a discretionary bonus.
  • 401(k) retirement plan.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance plans.
  • Basic life insurance coverage.
  • Short-term and long-term disability coverage.
  • Flexible spending, dependent care, and health savings accounts.
  • Access to telehealth and virtual healthcare services.
  • Employee assistance program.
  • Flexible paid time off.
  • Fully remote work environment within the United States.
  • Opportunity to work with a globally distributed team and cross-functional leaders across Sales, Services, Operations, Finance, Legal, and Technology.
  • Significant opportunity to shape and scale a strategic Partnerships Operations function.
  • High level of ownership, autonomy, and exposure to complex business initiatives.
