Hospital Nursing Assistant in Aitkin, Minnesota at Riverwood Healthcare Center

About the Position:

Provides compassionate and high-quality personal care and prescribes medical treatments to patients at Riverwood Health Care Center, in accordance with the scope of practice for a nursing assistant. Performs all duties under the supervision and delegation of a registered nurse, ensuring adherence to established care plans and facility protocols.

What we are looking for:

Education and Experience

Minimum:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.Current and active registration as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is highly preferred but not required for candidates who have already completed high school or obtained a GED.If currently enrolled in high school, the individual must have an active CNA registration or obtain CNA certification within six (6) months of hire.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred; may be required upon hire based on departmental needs.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

Current Nursing Assistant (NA) registration with the Minnesota State Board of Nursing highly preferred.Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or ability to obtain during orientation.Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification preferred, but not required.

0600-1830 and 1800-0630 rotating day/night. Every third weekend.
