Join the ELT Product team at Oxford University Press as a Project Controller and play a key role in supporting the delivery of educational products used by learners and educators around the world. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a globally respected organisation with a mission to further education and research through excellence in publishing.

This role offers the opportunity to work across a variety of business-critical activities, including contracts administration, intellectual property processes, product data management, and project support. You'll collaborate with colleagues across the UK and India, gain exposure to a broad range of publishing systems and workflows, and develop valuable experience within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Opportunity

As a Project Controller, you will provide operational and administrative support across the ELT Product function, helping ensure product information, contracts, and project data are maintained accurately and efficiently.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting Contracts and IP activities, including the preparation of Letters of Agreement and New Publication Forms.
  • Maintaining royalty trackers, IP records, and project information across systems such as ClickUp, Salesforce, and SAP.
  • Managing product and metadata records to support successful product development and delivery.
  • Creating and maintaining project-related Teams sites, access codes, and digital product records.
  • Supporting the management of digital content requests and archive retrieval activities.
  • Assisting project teams with a variety of administrative and operational tasks.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation, trackers, and workflow records across multiple projects.

This role has a direct impact on the quality, accuracy, and efficiency of ELT Product operations. By ensuring critical project and product information is maintained to a high standard, you will help enable smooth project delivery and support teams across the global ELT portfolio.

About YouEssential Criteria
  • Experience providing administrative or operational support within publishing or a similar environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with data, metadata, and business systems.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Experience following structured processes and maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Understanding of contracts administration and intellectual property workflows.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
Desirable Criteria
  • Experience using SAP, Salesforce, ClickUp, Biblio, or similar enterprise systems.
  • Experience working with publishing product data and metadata.
  • Familiarity with project management or product development environments.
