We’re searching for a motivated Laboratory Technician to support our environmental laboratory team in Reading, PA.

In this role, you’ll be actively engaged in daily laboratory operations, supporting critical testing through sample preparation, analytical testing, and accurate documentation within the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). You’ll work hands-on with laboratory instrumentation, contribute to quality and compliance initiatives, and help maintain a safe, efficient, and well-organized laboratory environment.

What You’ll Do

• Perform sample preparation and analytical testing in accordance with approved methods, SOPs, and quality standards
• Operate, calibrate, troubleshoot, and perform routine maintenance on laboratory instrumentation to ensure accuracy and reliability
• Perform data entry, documentation, and review of test results within the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and other designated systems
• Support laboratory quality system by following Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), assisting with audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Adhere to safety and compliance protocols to maintain a safe and efficient laboratory environment
• Assist with general laboratory housekeeping, inventory management, and cross-training as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science or related scientific area
• Demonstrated professional, hands-on analytical laboratory experience, preferably in environmental testing
• Previous experience with inorganic/wet chemistry testing , including BOD/CBOD, titrations, and reagent prep, preferred
• Familiarity with analytical instrumentation, including IC, FIA, SFA, and spectrophotometry preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required; Experience with LIMS is a plus

Work Schedule & Travel

• Full-time, onsite position
• Monday–Friday schedule, beginning on 1st shift (6:30 AM.–2:30 PM) for the first 90 days prior to transitioning to 2nd shift (2:00 PM –10:30 PM)
• Flexibility to work beyond standard hours as operational needs require
