Assistant Clinical Project Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Assistant Clinical Project Manager based in India.

This role offers the opportunity to support the delivery of medical imaging clinical studies that contribute to the development of life-changing therapies.
You will work alongside Clinical Project Managers and global cross-functional teams across study planning, startup, execution, monitoring, and closeout.
The position combines project coordination, documentation, stakeholder communication, financial support, and operational follow-up.
You will help ensure study milestones, deliverables, and imaging requirements are managed accurately and on schedule.
The role provides exposure to sponsors, clinical sites, internal teams, and healthcare-focused projects in an international environment.
Attention to detail, strong organization, and proactive communication will be essential to maintaining high-quality study execution.

Accountabilities
  • Support Clinical Project Managers throughout the planning, startup, execution, monitoring, and closeout phases of medical imaging clinical studies.
  • Prepare, organize, maintain, and update project documentation, reports, presentations, study materials, and other project records.
  • Review project presentations, status reports, and client-facing communications to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality.
  • Participate in project meetings, conference calls, training sessions, and cross-functional discussions to support study delivery.
  • Review study protocols and project requirements and help ensure operational readiness and compliance.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to facilitate the timely completion of project deliverables and study activities.
  • Monitor project progress and communicate study needs, risks, issues, and milestones to project leadership.
  • Support project financial activities, including scope-related documentation updates, invoice reconciliation follow-up, and forecasting reports.
  • Monitor internal workflows and data processes to ensure tasks are completed within agreed timelines.
  • Respond professionally and promptly to inquiries from clients, sponsors, sites, and other stakeholders.
  • Provide regular project status updates and facilitate effective communication between project teams and external stakeholders.
  • Verify protocol-specific imaging requirements, identify discrepancies or queries, and escalate issues when appropriate.
  • Support issue tracking, client concern resolution, and follow-up activities to maintain project momentum.
  • Coordinate the distribution, management, and tracking of site-facing materials and study logistics.
  • Act as the Project Manager when the assigned Clinical Project Manager is unavailable, when required.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and recommend ways to improve operational efficiency and study delivery.
  • Ensure activities comply with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), ICH guidelines, applicable FDA regulations, internal procedures, and study-specific requirements.
Requirements
  • Associate degree required; a Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare, Clinical Research, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience in pharmaceutical development, clinical trials, clinical research, healthcare, medical imaging, clinical technology, or a related field.
  • Understanding of clinical research processes, drug development, and clinical trial operations is preferred.
  • Experience supporting medical imaging, healthcare, or clinical technology programs is an advantage.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, prioritization, and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with global teams and external stakeholders.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, documentation, follow-up, and quality review skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across cross-functional and international teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a changing environment.
  • Proactive, customer-focused, and results-oriented approach to project coordination and delivery.
  • Professionalism, adaptability, and a positive attitude when working in a fast-paced environment.
