Job Scope:

The Credit Manager is responsible for overseeing company-wide credit operations and ensuring effective risk management across the entire customer portfolio. The position oversees credit insurance policies and coverage decisions, manages relationships with credit reporting and collection agencies, and reports portfolio health to senior leadership. It also supervises escalated collection efforts, approves payment plans, settlements, and write-offs, and coordinates recovery actions with Legal when necessary. Working closely with Sales, Legal, and Purchasing, the role balances revenue growth with credit risk, supports contract and security-instrument reviews, and responds to supplier requests for signed credit applications. In addition, the position leads, develops, and supports a team of regional credit managers and support staff by establishing performance metrics, promoting accountability, and fostering a high-performing team environment.

  • Partner with Sales, Legal, and Purchasing to balance revenue growth, contract requirements, security instruments, recovery actions, and supplier credit documentation.
  • Lead, develop, and manage regional credit managers and support staff while establishing performance expectations, accountability standards, and team objectives.
  • Demonstrate strong commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement
