Talent Acquisition Manager – Dietary Supplements & Logistics
Location: Tampa, FL (On-site)
Job Type: Full-time
Reports to: Director of Human Resources
Role Overview
The Talent Acquisition Manager will lead the end-to-end recruitment strategy for our dietary supplement manufacturing and fulfillment operations. This role is responsible for identifying and attracting top-tier talent across a diverse spectrum, from executive C-suite leadership to high-volume production and warehouse staff.
The ideal candidate will be a bilingual leader capable of communicating effectively with our diverse workforce and possess the strategic mindset to support our rapid growth in the health and wellness sector.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Planning
- Design and execute a comprehensive recruitment strategy that aligns with manufacturing production schedules and corporate growth goals.
- Partner with C-suite executives to define leadership profiles and conduct confidential executive searches.
- Analyze hiring metrics (time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, retention) to optimize the recruitment lifecycle.
Full-Cycle Recruitment
- Manage the entire hiring process for all levels: Corporate (Marketing, R&D, Finance), Manufacturing (Machine Operators, Quality Control), and Logistics (Warehouse, Shipping/Receiving).
- Conduct interviews and facilitate communication in both English and Spanish to ensure clarity and engagement across the entire candidate pool.
- Lead interview processes, ensuring a high-quality candidate experience and consistent evaluation criteria.
Compliance & Industry Standards
- Ensure all hiring practices comply with EEOC, ADA, and federal/state labor laws.
- Incorporate cGMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) awareness into the vetting process for all production and quality roles.
- Manage pre-employment screenings, including background checks, drug testing, and reference verification.
Sourcing & Pipeline Management
- Develop a proactive sourcing strategy to attract passive talent for specialized roles like Formulation Scientists and Regulatory Affairs Specialists.
- Coordinate with local trade schools and community organizations to build a pipeline for entry-level production and logistics roles.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Language: Full professional fluency in Spanish and English is required. Ability to translate complex HR concepts and conduct interviews in both languages.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Recruiter or Talent Acquisition Specialist is required. 5+ years of total experience is preferred.
- Industry Context: Previous experience in manufacturing, nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, or logistics environments is a significant advantage.
- Executive Search: Proven track record of successfully placing C-suite or Director-level candidates.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, and HRIS platforms such as ADP WorkforceNow.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred but not required
