In this role, you will be responsible for fulfilling guest request, cleaning, inspecting, and preparing guest rooms to hotel standards, ensuring rooms are ready for arriving guests and creating an exceptional guest experience. You will play a key role in supporting daily housekeeping operations, guest satisfaction, and room availability by maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and quality throughout the hotel. Daily room inspections and attention to detail are essential to ensuring every guest checks into a beautifully prepared room.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and service a mix of stayover and checkout guestrooms daily using required technology to track and record completed tasks.
  • Maintain guest rooms to hotel standards by making beds, replacing linens, towels, amenities, and room supplies.
  • Remove and replace side bed bumpers (up to 15 lbs.) when making beds.
  • Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, sanitize bathrooms, remove trash, and replace liners.
  • Restock guest amenities, including hand soap and AM/PM bottles.
  • Follow Lost & Found procedures and conduct regular guest room and public area inspections.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, OSHA, hotel, and company standards.
  • Report maintenance issues promptly and communicate room status, guest feedback, and cleaning concerns to Housekeeping Management.
  • Maintain required quality and productivity standards while working efficiently.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Business Unit Manager.

Qualifications & Physical Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures and safe handling of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and supplies.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (approximately 75% of the shift).
  • Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, reach, push, pull, and twist while performing repetitive cleaning tasks involving the arms, hands, shoulders, back, and legs.
  • Ability to lift and carry supplies, linens, towels, and equipment up to 25 lbs., and push a fully loaded housekeeping cart exceeding 100 lbs.
  • Ability to work in bathrooms, guestrooms, hallways, and other hotel areas.
  • Flexible availability, including varying shifts, days, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Reports To: Business Unit Manager, Assistant Manager, and Lead Room Finishers.
