Junior Brand Designer Social Content

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Junior Brand Designer – Social Content based in Mexico.

This is a fully remote design opportunity focused primarily on creating polished, engaging social content for multiple visually driven brands.
You will work across established brand identities, translating briefs and raw content into thoughtful, distinctive creative assets.
The role combines hands-on design execution with creative judgment, visual curation, and attention to brand consistency.
You will contribute to social feeds, stories, presentations, collateral, and other digital creative projects while maintaining each brand's unique identity.
You will collaborate closely with an experienced creative team, receive feedback, and develop your ability to make confident design decisions.
The environment values refined, intentional work over generic or overly trend-driven creative, giving you room to apply your visual taste and judgment.

Accountabilities
  • Design social media content for feeds, stories, and other digital formats across multiple client brands.

  • Translate creative briefs, content queues, and established visual systems into polished, on-brand designs.

  • Create and adapt creative assets using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.

  • Extend existing templates and develop new layouts when necessary while preserving brand consistency.

  • Support broader brand projects, including presentations, decks, collateral, and one-off creative assets.

  • Review raw photography and video content and select the strongest visual assets for each brand.

  • Source complementary imagery that aligns with individual brand identities and creative direction.

  • Transform raw content into finished creative assets with minimal step-by-step guidance.

  • Produce strong first drafts that require minimal revisions and maintain a consistently high level of visual quality.

  • Edit lightweight short-form video using CapCut, Premiere Pro, or comparable tools, including basic transitions, text treatments, and visual elements.

  • Review all work carefully for typography, spelling, spacing, composition, copy, consistency, and brand accuracy before submission.

  • Collaborate with the creative team, respond constructively to feedback, and iterate efficiently.

  • Manage multiple brands and assignments while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.

Requirements
  • Strong creative judgment, visual taste, and exceptional attention to detail.

  • Portfolio demonstrating strong work in branding, social media, editorial design, or related creative disciplines.

  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.

  • Ability to work confidently within established brand systems while recognizing when a layout or visual direction needs to be adapted.

  • Strong understanding of typography, composition, spacing, imagery, visual hierarchy, and overall design principles.

  • Ability to evaluate, curate, and select high-quality photography and visual content.

  • Strong professional English communication skills, both written and spoken.

  • Ability to interpret detailed creative briefs and identify copy, visual, or brand inconsistencies.

  • Comfortable producing basic short-form video content using CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar software.

  • Highly detail-oriented, with the ability to identify and correct errors before work reaches final review.

  • Receptive to feedback and comfortable iterating quickly without compromising quality.

  • Able to work independently, take ownership of assignments, and make creative decisions without requiring constant direction.

  • Curious, motivated, coachable, and genuinely interested in design, branding, visual culture, and social media.

  • Experience with lifestyle, hospitality, wellness, beauty, fashion, or other visually driven brands is advantageous.

  • Photo editing, color correction, retouching, or Lightroom experience is a plus.

  • Basic After Effects or motion design skills are beneficial.

  • Experience with infographic or information design is welcome.

  • Familiarity with creative AI tools such as Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, Higgsfield, or similar platforms is advantageous.

  • Familiarity with Figma, Notion, and Google Workspace is a plus.
