Overview

The Site Manager is responsible for the day-to-day leadership of equipment and cleaning operations at a large customer facility. This hands-on role oversees employees, staffing, safety, compliance, service quality, equipment operations, and customer satisfaction.

The Site Manager will maintain a strong presence throughout the facility, ensuring employees are properly trained, safety and compliance standards are followed, and customer expectations are consistently met.



Responsibilities

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Lead daily cleaning and equipment operations, including staffing, assignments, productivity, and service quality.

  • Supervise, coach, and develop frontline employees.

  • Manage employee scheduling, attendance, call-offs, and staffing coverage.

  • Ensure employees complete required job-specific, equipment, safety, and compliance training.

  • Conduct routine safety, compliance, and quality inspections.

  • Ensure employees follow company policies, customer requirements, SOPs, PPE requirements, and safe work practices.

  • Oversee janitorial services, including floors, restrooms, offices, breakrooms, common areas, and other assigned spaces.

  • Ensure proper and safe use of auto-scrubbers, floor machines, vacuums, chemicals, and other commercial cleaning equipment.

  • Maintain required training, safety, inspection, and compliance documentation.

  • Address employee performance, safety, quality, and conduct concerns promptly.

  • Coordinate equipment maintenance and repair needs.

  • Maintain appropriate cleaning supply and equipment inventory.

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customer site leadership.

  • Respond to customer concerns and ensure corrective actions are completed.

  • Manage labor and overtime while maintaining required service levels.

  • Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, productivity, and overall account performance.

  • Other duties as assigned or requested.



Qualifications

Qualifications:
  • Bilingual English/Spanish required.

  • 2+ years of supervisory or management experience in janitorial, facilities services, commercial cleaning, manufacturing, or similar operations.

  • Experience leading and developing frontline hourly employees.

  • Knowledge of workplace safety, compliance, and operational procedures.

  • Commercial cleaning or facility services experience strongly preferred.

  • Experience with commercial or industrial equipment preferred.

  • Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

  • Basic computer and reporting skills.

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on operational needs.

Employment Requirements:
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
  • Successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
  • Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check, if applicable to job responsibilities.

Physical Requirements:

Applicants for this role must be able to:

  • Lift boxes and packages weighing up to 60 pounds
  • Lift, bend, squat, and stretch to move boxes, parcels, and shipments
  • Climb small to medium flights of stairs multiple times a day
  • Standing for extended periods of time
  • Working conditions may consist of extreme exposure to heat/cold weather conditions, involving both indoor and outdoor tasks
  • Occasional exposure to hazardous environments and conditions might be experienced
