Job Description
This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Product Designer, Growth in the United States.
This role sits at the core of a high-impact growth organization focused on shaping how developers experience a product from their very first interaction through activation and paid conversion. You will design and optimize critical user journeys including signup, trial onboarding, SDK integration, and first feature activation, ensuring developers quickly experience real value without friction. Working in a data-informed environment, you will leverage behavioral insights, funnel analytics, and user research to identify activation barriers and transform them into scalable design solutions. This is a highly strategic and hands-on design role where experimentation, iteration, and measurable impact are central to success. You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and data teams to drive growth outcomes. The environment is fast-moving, evidence-driven, and deeply focused on improving developer-first experiences at scale.
- Design and optimize end-to-end activation and trial experiences, from signup through SDK integration, first feature use, and conversion to paid plans.
- Analyze funnel data, user behavior, and qualitative feedback to identify drop-offs and define design-led solutions that improve activation and retention.
- Design and run experiments to validate hypotheses, measure impact, and iterate quickly on growth-focused product improvements.
- Improve onboarding flows for both traditional and emerging agentic interfaces, including AI-driven and API-based onboarding experiences.
- Enhance discoverability and adoption of advanced product features by improving information architecture and in-product guidance systems.
- Partner with product, engineering, and growth teams to influence roadmap priorities based on data-backed design opportunities.
- Contribute to a strong critique culture by presenting design decisions clearly and incorporating structured feedback into iterations.
- 7+ years of experience in product design with a strong focus on growth, activation, conversion, or retention outcomes.
- Proven experience designing and improving B2B SaaS or developer-focused products in PLG, freemium, or trial-to-paid models.
- Strong background in experimentation, including hypothesis definition, A/B testing, and data-driven evaluation of design impact.
- Experience working directly with funnel analytics, activation metrics, and customer behavior data to guide design decisions.
- Ability to identify systemic UX issues and design scalable solutions across entire user journeys rather than isolated screens.
- Familiarity with developer workflows including APIs, SDK setup, CLI tools, and integration experiences.
- Exposure to or strong interest in AI-driven interfaces and agent-based workflows, with curiosity for emerging onboarding paradigms.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate design rationale and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
- Competitive compensation based on geographic location, with base salary ranging from $145,500 to $235,400 USD plus equity (RSUs) and performance-based components.
- Comprehensive health coverage including medical, dental, vision, and mental health support.
- Flexible remote-first work environment with hybrid options depending on role and location.
- Strong focus on work-life balance with supportive, trust-based culture and autonomy.
- Opportunities to work on high-impact growth initiatives shaping developer onboarding at scale.
- Equity participation in a fast-growing, publicly traded technology company.
- Inclusive and collaborative environment emphasizing humility, feedback, and continuous improvement.
