Senior Engineering Manager, Cash Line

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Engineering Manager, Cash Line in the United States.

This role is a high-impact engineering leadership position responsible for scaling a fast-growing consumer financial product from MVP to a fully mature, production-grade platform. You will lead a team of engineers building and evolving a revolving line of credit product that sits at the core of a broader lending ecosystem. The role combines strong technical leadership with organizational execution, requiring you to establish structure, delivery systems, and engineering best practices in a rapidly evolving environment. You will partner closely with Product and Design to drive roadmap execution across monetization, credit expansion, and user experience initiatives. This position is highly cross-functional and requires strong alignment with senior leadership to ensure predictable delivery and business impact. It offers the opportunity to shape both product outcomes and engineering culture at scale within a mission-driven fintech organization.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead, coach, and grow a team of approximately 10 software engineers responsible for the Cash Line product and platform.
  • Define and implement execution frameworks, engineering processes, and delivery systems to improve predictability and operational efficiency.
  • Partner closely with Product and Design to deliver on a complex roadmap spanning monetization, retention, credit expansion, and platform scaling.
  • Drive technical and product decision-making across multiple concurrent initiatives, balancing trade-offs between speed, quality, and scalability.
  • Establish and evolve engineering operating rhythms that support strong planning, execution, and cross-functional alignment.
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality customer-facing product experiences with measurable business impact.
  • Support the organization’s transition from MVP-stage execution to scalable, structured product development.
  • Foster a high-performance, inclusive engineering culture focused on accountability, growth, and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 8+ years of engineering experience, including at least 3+ years in people management roles.
  • Proven experience leading engineering teams building customer-facing products or platforms.
  • Strong background in establishing engineering processes, execution frameworks, and delivery systems in fast-paced environments.
  • Experience collaborating closely with Product and Design teams to deliver complex technical initiatives.
  • Ability to manage multiple parallel initiatives with strong business and technical impact.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills with executive presence.
  • Experience in fintech, lending, or consumer financial products (preferred).
  • Ability to evaluate engineering success through both technical and business outcome metrics.
  • Experience scaling engineering teams during periods of rapid product growth (preferred).
Benefits:
  • Competitive base salary ranging from $195,300 to $270,400 USD (based on location and experience).
  • Eligible for performance bonuses and annual equity grants.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
  • Retirement savings plans including 401(k) or equivalent with company match.
  • Employee stock purchase plan (eligibility based on location).
  • Flexible remote-first work model with periodic in-person collaboration sessions.
  • Paid time off, holidays, and generous family and parental leave policies.
  • Wellness allowance and productivity stipends to support work and personal development.
  • Mental health support, employee assistance programs, and financial wellness resources.
  • Inclusive, collaborative engineering culture focused on innovation and impact.
