Point C is seeking a Manager, Payment Operations to lead and optimize end-to-end payment workflows across a complex, high-volume operational environment.
This role is central to ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in payment execution and related financial processes.
You will oversee daily operations including check runs, registers, and vendor file transmissions while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
The position requires close collaboration with Finance, IT, and external vendors to resolve issues and enhance system performance.
You will play a key role in establishing KPIs, SLAs, and operational controls to support scalable growth.
This is a highly cross-functional leadership role focused on process optimization, automation, and operational excellence within a fast-paced healthcare administration setting.
- Own and manage end-to-end payment operations, including check runs, register management, and execution across multiple systems, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Lead daily operational workflows, define KPIs and SLAs, and monitor performance to ensure compliance and efficiency
- Manage external vendor relationships (including payment processing partners such as ECHO Health) for file transmissions, EOB creation, and issue resolution
- Collaborate with IT and internal teams to troubleshoot system issues, support incident response, and ensure platform stability
- Partner with Finance on funding requests, reconciliation, reporting, and payment registers
- Drive automation initiatives, reporting enhancements, and dashboard development to improve operational visibility
- Support acquisition integrations and ensure smooth operational transitions across systems and workflows
- Maintain operational controls, quality standards, SOP documentation, testing, validation, and team training
- 5+ years of experience in payment operations, healthcare administration, or related financial operations roles
- 3+ years of leadership experience with cross-functional team collaboration
- Strong background in claims management or healthcare payment workflows
- Hands-on experience with payment operations systems and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with tools such as ECHO payment systems, VBA, HEALTHpac, and QuickLink preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate across technical, financial, and operational stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to improve processes, drive efficiency, and manage operational risk
- Competitive base salary aligned with experience (USD 65,000–80,000 range)
