Lead Product Marketer, Developer Platform

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Lead Product Marketer, Developer Platform in United States.

This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic and technically fluent product marketing leader to shape the market presence of a rapidly evolving developer ecosystem. In this role, you will drive go-to-market strategy and positioning for innovative developer tools, APIs, AI-assisted builder experiences, and platform infrastructure products designed to empower modern software creators. You will operate at the intersection of product, engineering, developer relations, and executive leadership, translating complex technical capabilities into compelling narratives that accelerate adoption and engagement. The position offers broad ownership across product launches, messaging frameworks, market strategy, and developer-focused campaigns in a fast-moving SaaS environment. Ideal candidates are equally comfortable discussing technical concepts with engineers and presenting strategic messaging to business stakeholders. This role provides the chance to influence the future of developer experiences while working within a collaborative, growth-oriented, and highly cross-functional organization.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead end-to-end go-to-market strategy, positioning, messaging, naming, and release marketing for developer platform products and technical solutions.
  • Orchestrate product launches for APIs, developer platforms, AI coding tools, integrations, CLI tools, automation capabilities, and emerging builder technologies.
  • Develop compelling narratives that communicate complex technical concepts clearly to developers, partners, customers, and executive audiences.
  • Partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, Developer Relations, Brand, Communications, Legal, and leadership teams to ensure launch readiness and strategic alignment.
  • Define and evolve builder personas across traditional developers and AI-assisted creators using modern coding workflows and tools.
  • Create launch assets, technical content, enablement materials, FAQs, newsletters, release communications, and campaign messaging to drive awareness and adoption.
  • Identify and test innovative routes to market that improve engagement among technical and non-technical builders.
  • Analyze market trends, customer insights, competitive positioning, and adoption data to continuously refine go-to-market strategy and messaging effectiveness.
  • Coordinate cross-functional initiatives, proactively manage dependencies, and mitigate launch risks in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Support developer-focused events, product showcases, and builder activations that strengthen ecosystem engagement and community growth.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in product marketing, technical marketing, or developer-focused go-to-market roles within SaaS, product-led growth, or technology-driven organizations.
  • Proven success leading end-to-end launches for technical products, developer platforms, APIs, or infrastructure-related solutions.
  • Strong understanding of developer ecosystems, APIs, webhooks, integrations, command-line interfaces, and platform technologies.
  • Ability to simplify and communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences effectively.
  • Experience building positioning, messaging, and strategic narratives for emerging technologies or evolving product categories.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Excellent executive communication, storytelling, and presentation skills with strong strategic influence capabilities.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience measuring adoption, engagement, launch effectiveness, and market impact.
  • Familiarity with AI tools, automation workflows, or AI-assisted development environments used to improve marketing execution and operational efficiency.
  • High level of ownership, adaptability, and comfort operating independently within ambiguous or rapidly changing environments.
  • Experience with developer relations, technical communities, ecosystem marketing, AI infrastructure, or builder-focused events is considered a strong advantage.

Benefits:

  • Competitive annual compensation ranging approximately from $144,000 to $216,000 USD based on experience and qualifications.
  • Eligibility for additional compensation components including bonuses, commissions, and equity participation through restricted stock units (RSUs).
  • Flexible remote or hybrid work options across North America.
  • Comprehensive healthcare and wellness benefits package.
  • Access to professional growth opportunities, learning resources, and career advancement programs.
  • Collaborative, high-performing culture focused on innovation, ownership, and continuous learning.
  • Opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI, developer platform, and SaaS technologies shaping the future of digital experiences.
  • In-person onboarding experiences, product summits, and team gatherings designed to foster connection and collaboration.
  • Inclusive and supportive work environment committed to accessibility, flexibility, and employee success.
