Job Description

Position: Training Specialist

CLEARVIEW is currently seeking a Saas Training Specialist to join our team. The Saas Training Specialist is part of our Training team, who provide training support to both internal and external customers.

As a Training Specialist at CLEARVIEW, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our clients are proficient in utilizing our products. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around developing, delivering, and managing training initiatives. This role is essential in empowering our clients and internal teams to maximize the potential of our software. 

What will your day look like? Duties and tasks include, but are not limited to:

Training Material Development

  • Create engaging and effective training materials, including user guides, tutorials, and multimedia presentations.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and relevance of training content.
  • Keep training materials up-to-date with the latest product features and updates.

Training Delivery

  • Conduct live training sessions for clients and internal staff through webinars, workshops, and on-site sessions.
  • Develop and maintain a library of recorded training sessions for on-demand access.
  • Customize training sessions based on the unique needs and skill levels of different audiences.

Training Program Management

  • Coordinate and schedule training sessions, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to program timelines.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through participant feedback and assessment results.
  • Continuously improve training programs based on feedback and industry best practices.

Internal and External Training Requests

  • Process and prioritize internal and external requests for training.
  • Work closely with the customer support and sales teams to identify training needs and address specific client requirements.

Qualifications 

You should be:

  • Professional while working with stakeholders at various levels throughout the organization.
  • A motivated self-starter who can identify opportunities for improvement and take appropriate action.
  • A logical thinker and a creative problem-solver who utilizes all available resources.

And required to have:

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proven experience as a Training Specialist, preferably in a SaaS or technology-driven environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in creating engaging and effective training materials.

Key Experience and Access

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Bilingualism an asset. 
  • Experience with virtual training platforms and tools.
  • Experience with MadCap Flare is considered an asset
  • Experience with video editing software considered an asset
  • Experience with e-learning platforms considered an asset
  • Experience with technical writing considered be an asset

  • We are a diverse and welcoming group. Most of our team is located on the East coast of Canada, so our core business hours tend to center around Atlantic and Eastern time zones.
