We are currently seeking a Maintenance Helper to add to our growing team.

Position Summary & Objective

The Housekeeping / Maintenance Helper is responsible for supporting the cleanliness, organization, and basic upkeep of facilities. This role assists with routine housekeeping tasks and performs general maintenance support to ensure a safe, functional, and well-maintained work environment for employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness of offices, restrooms, breakrooms, and common areasSweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces regularlyReplenish supplies such as paper towels, soap, and other consumablesDispose of trash and recycling in designated areasClean windows, glass surfaces, and fixtures as neededFollow established cleaning schedules and safety proceduresAssist with basic repairs such as changing light bulbs, tightening fixtures, and minor equipment adjustmentsSupport preventive maintenance tasks and inspectionsHelp move furniture, equipment, and materials as neededReport any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or equipment malfunctions to leadershipPerform basic outdoor upkeep (e.g., sweeping walkways, light groundskeeping if applicable)

Qualifications & Skills

High school diploma or equivalent preferred1+ year of housekeeping, janitorial, or maintenance support experience preferredBasic knowledge of cleaning practices and safety proceduresAbility to use common hand tools and cleaning equipmentStrong attention to detail and reliabilityAbility to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periodsAbility to lift up to 50 poundsComfortable working indoors and occasionally outdoors in varying conditionsMay involve exposure to cleaning chemicals and maintenance tools
