Job Description

QA Automao Playwright e RestSharp - Snior

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a QA Automação Playwright e RestSharp - Sênior based in Brazil.

This is a senior QA engineering opportunity focused on defining and operating a robust quality strategy for critical digital products and business journeys. You will ensure that business rules, regulated integrations, and high-impact workflows are continuously validated through reliable, traceable, and sustainable automated testing. The role combines hands-on automation with test strategy, CI/CD quality gates, risk analysis, and production troubleshooting. You will work closely with engineering and product teams to make requirements testable and identify risks before development reaches completion. The position also involves API, UI, integration, contract, security, regression, and end-to-end testing in a regulated environment. It is an ideal opportunity for a senior QA professional who values engineering excellence, automation reliability, observability, and continuous quality improvement.

Accountabilities:
  • Define the squad’s test strategy and establish the appropriate balance between unit, integration, contract, API, UI, E2E, security, and regression testing.
  • Translate acceptance criteria and business rules into comprehensive positive, negative, exception, concurrency, idempotency, and reprocessing scenarios.
  • Build, maintain, and evolve UI and E2E automated tests using Playwright, ensuring reliable browser coverage and meaningful execution evidence.
  • Develop and maintain API and integration automation using RestSharp and .NET, covering authentication, headers, contracts, status codes, payloads, errors, and execution correlation.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and establish objective quality gates capable of blocking merges or deployments when defined criteria are not met.
  • Validate API contracts, version compatibility, asynchronous messages, and integrations with external systems or controlled mocks.
  • Define and maintain masked, deterministic, reusable, and LGPD-compliant test data strategies.
  • Implement test isolation, setup and teardown processes, controlled parallelism, appropriate retries, and evidence collection without hiding underlying instability.
  • Monitor and improve test flakiness, execution time, risk-based coverage, and escaped defect rates.
  • Review and validate test scenarios generated by AI agents, identifying coverage gaps, false positives, fragile tests, and other quality risks.
  • Support the definition of Definition of Done, acceptance criteria, review checklists, and quality policies.
  • Investigate test and production failures using logs, traces, screenshots, videos, payloads, and execution correlation data.
  • Participate in requirements refinement sessions to anticipate risks and ensure requirements are testable before development begins.
  • Maintain documentation covering the testing strategy, execution processes, quality gates, and interpretation of test results.
Requirements
  • Senior-level experience in software quality assurance and test automation for web products and APIs.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Playwright for browser testing, E2E journeys, fixtures, locators, assertions, evidence collection, and CI execution.
  • Professional experience using RestSharp to automate API testing in .NET environments.
  • Solid knowledge of C#/.NET sufficient to develop, review, troubleshoot, and debug automated tests.
  • Experience with contract, integration, regression, API, E2E, and data validation testing.
  • Experience configuring automated tests within CI/CD pipelines and defining objective approval and blocking criteria.
  • Strong understanding of the test pyramid, risk-based testing, flakiness prevention, test stability, and data quality.
  • Experience with Git, pull requests, code review practices, and close collaboration with engineering and product teams.
  • Ability to operate in regulated environments involving masked data, access segregation, traceability, and auditable evidence.
  • Strong analytical and investigative skills, with the ability to identify root causes and distinguish application defects from automation or environment issues.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience with messaging and event-driven testing using Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS/SNS, or similar technologies is desirable.
  • Knowledge of resilience, performance, security, and accessibility testing is a plus.
  • Experience with WireMock, Testcontainers, Pact, or equivalent testing and mocking tools is desirable.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD platforms is advantageous.
  • Experience in banking, credit, payments, receivables, or financial integrations is a strong plus.
  • Experience validating AI-agent workflows and reviewing automatically generated test scenarios is desirable.
  • Knowledge of observability practices and analysis of logs and distributed traces is an advantage.
Benefits
  • Opportunity to work on complex quality engineering challenges involving critical digital journeys and regulated integrations.
  • Exposure to modern test automation technologies, including Playwright, RestSharp, CI/CD quality gates, and AI-assisted testing.
  • Opportunity to influence the squad’s overall quality strategy and engineering standards.
  • Collaborative environment with close interaction between QA, engineering, product, and other multidisciplinary teams.
  • Continuous learning and professional development opportunities.
  • Participation in knowledge-sharing initiatives, technical communities, training programs, and leadership development opportunities.
  • Opportunity to work with modern cloud, integration, messaging, observability, and automation technologies.
  • Inclusive environment committed to diversity, respect, ethics, and equal opportunities.
  • Opportunity to contribute to solutions where reliability, traceability, security, and software quality are core priorities.
