Full Stack Engineer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Full Stack Engineer based in Canada.

As a Full Stack Engineer, you’ll contribute across the front end and back end of a modern SaaS platform, building reliable and scalable product experiences.
You’ll work closely with engineers, product managers, and UX partners to turn ideas into technically robust, user-focused features.
The role offers end-to-end ownership, from technical design and implementation through deployment and post-release support.
You’ll have the opportunity to shape architectural decisions while working with large datasets and performance-sensitive systems.
Quality is central to the role, with a strong emphasis on automated testing, observability, debugging, and maintainable code.
You’ll join a remote-first, collaborative engineering environment where initiative, accountability, and thoughtful problem-solving are highly valued.
Based in Toronto, you’ll help build technology that powers sophisticated advertising and data-driven workflows for enterprise customers.

Accountabilities
  • Build and maintain maintainable, performant, and scalable full-stack features that deliver meaningful product value and a strong user experience.
  • Develop across both front-end and back-end systems, contributing to reliable SaaS applications and platform capabilities.
  • Own features from technical design and solutioning through implementation, testing, production deployment, and post-release support.
  • Maintain strong unit and integration test coverage to protect product quality, stability, and reliability.
  • Participate in architectural discussions and contribute technical perspectives to scalable and effective product design decisions.
  • Work closely with engineering, product, and UX teams to understand requirements and deliver cohesive, user-focused solutions.
  • Monitor application performance, investigate issues, review logs, and proactively identify opportunities to improve reliability and efficiency.
  • Work effectively with large datasets and performance-sensitive applications.
  • Document new and existing features clearly to support team alignment, knowledge sharing, and future development.
  • Take ownership of the reliability, correctness, and long-term maintainability of the code you ship.
  • Contribute to CI/CD practices and cloud-based development and deployment workflows.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of professional experience working across both front-end and back-end development for SaaS products.
  • Strong experience with JavaScript and modern frameworks such as React.
  • Proficiency with TypeScript, React, and Redux is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Python and Django, including Django REST Framework, is preferred.
  • Experience designing and implementing unit and integration tests using tools such as pytest, Jest, React Testing Library, or similar frameworks.
  • Experience working with large datasets and developing systems capable of handling substantial data volumes.
  • Practical experience monitoring application performance, debugging production issues, and analyzing application logs.
  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and/or AWS.
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals and an understanding of scalable application architecture.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, product, and UX teams.
  • Strong ownership, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in the AdTech industry is considered an advantage.

  • Estimated base salary of CA$115,000–CA$145,000, with final compensation based on factors such as experience, skills, budget, and location.
