Job Responsibilities

The Development and Planned Giving Officer serves as an experienced development professional for Mary Greeley Medical Center. This individual is responsible for a portfolio of major gift prospects capable of making gifts of $10,000 or more and for developing and executing a planned giving program. In addition to identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding donors, the Development and Planned Giving Officer works with the Foundation Executive Director on campaign planning and execution, board leadership and the overall execution of development strategies and programs in order to achieve established fundraising goals and objectives. All actions taken support donor and patient-centered care.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Three to five years of progressively responsible experience in development and/or planned giving and fundraising. Title and compensation commensurate with experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with planned giving and/or financial planning.
  • Experience with Raisers Edge or similar contact database software.
  • Fundraising experience for a hospital or higher education.
