This position is responsible for overseeing the day to day activities of their area within the assigned team, coordinating the activities of all personnel involved with the billing, follow up, an/or other support such as phone, customer service, complaints, etc. This position addresses system concerns with patient accounting system, billing vendors, and outsourcing agencies with management staff.
The Patient Financial Services Lead will provide daily staff supervision and ensure the effective and efficient operation of the department while promoting customer and employee satisfaction. This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Corporate Services, ICARE standards, Code of Conduct and other policies.
It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values while supporting the strategic plan, goals and direction of the Performance Improvement Process (PIP) at Blessing Hospital.
- Education/Training/Experience:

REQUIRED:
- High School Diploma/GED and 3-5 years hands-on billing and follow up experience.
- Relevent computer and reasoning/critical thinking skills.

PREFERRED:
- College Degree.
- Billing Certification.
- 2-3 years billing and collection experience.
- Attendance at billing and collections seminars.
- Relevant previous management or supervisory experience.
