Registered Nurse at Willis-Knighton Health System – Shreveport, Louisiana

3 West is a 30 bed combined medical surgical telemetry unit located on the 3rd floor of the Willis Knighton Bossier Facility. The patient population consists of adult medical surgical patients who require remote cardiac monitoring due to newly diagnosed or chronic cardiac conditions. RN and LPN staff are responsible for providing the highest level of nursing and medical management using a collaborative multidisciplinary approach. The nurse to patient ratio is 1:5 or 1:6 with certified nursing assistants and a Telemetry Tech for your support staff. The schedule is based on 12-hour shifts, 7 a.m. or 7 p.m. Orientation with a preceptor is provided according to experience. New graduates are welcome. ACLS and a Basic Dysrhythmia course are provided by our Career Institute.
