Job SummaryThe College of Arts and Sciences is seeking an Administrative Support Associate II to provide high-level administrative support to the College Staff Officer in the Dean’s office. This position is responsible for planning, organizing, preparing, and running all events managed by the dean’s office such as the SEC Dean’s Meetings, Department Chairs Retreat, Faculty Orientation, All-College meetings, and Dean’s List Ceremony. This position provides administrative support to the Dean, Associate Deans and College Staff Officer. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • scheduling meetings
  • preparing meeting agendas
  • recording meeting minutes
  • collaborate closely with teams across the College and University to manage projects effectively
  • assist with disseminating the Dean’s Office initiatives through communication, events, and programming
  • assist with Dean’s Office projects

Must have the ability to communicate the vision of the Dean and Associate Dean in a clear and concise manner. Serve as an advocate for the faculty, staff, and students navigating the College and University administration to serve the needs of constituents.
