Entry Level Accounting Clerk at Brewingz – Houston, Texas

Pay: 25,000-35,000 year, depending on qualifications.

Bookkeeping Duties and Responsibilities:

• Payables – Entering and paying invoices in Quickbooks

• Banking – Reconcile accounts, money transfers, confirming each transaction in the account.

• Payroll – Complete biweekly payroll for all employees through importing of payroll transactions

• Reports – Enter/review data in weekly, monthly, and annual sales reports and analyze for anomalies, understand and prepare Profit & Loss statements through QuickBooks by making deposits in and reconciling account, and maintain General Ledger.

• Filing – maintain an orderly filing system for all invoices, bills and statements.

• Notifying senior staff of accounting errors

Qualifications

• 0-2 years experience in a related field.

• Knowledge of general accounting experience a plus with an emphasis on accounts payable.

• Strong organizational and analytical skills are required with an emphasis on attention to detail.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)

• Must have a positive attitude and be self-motivated.

• Must be able to communicate effectively with vendors and all levels of employees at the store.

• Familiarity with Quickbooks is a plus
