Position Overview:

As a Traffic Control Supervisor, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining temporary traffic control measures in various work zones. Your role will ensure the safety of both workers and the public while upholding the highest standards of professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit daily traffic control reports based on project requirements.
• Prioritize safety in the Traffic Control Area, ensuring the well-being of all workers and the public.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of local, county, and state traffic control regulations.
• Keep the job site clean, organized, and free of hazards by securing equipment daily.
• Communicate effectively with the foreman or project manager regarding any issues or concerns.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Certifications: Must have a current Flagger and Traffic Control Supervisor (TCS) certification.
• Driver's License: A valid driver’s license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) is required.
• Availability: Open availability during weekdays plus night and weekend work as needed.
• Physical Ability: Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work Attire: Boots and jeans are mandatory on all job sites.
• Background Check: Must be able to pass a background check.

Work Schedule:

• 12-hour shifts

Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Traffic Control (Required)

Licenses/Certifications:

• Driver's License (Required)
• Traffic Control Supervisor Certification (Required)
• Flagger Certification (Required)
