Bus Staff at La Saj Lebanese Bistro – Troy, Michigan

BUS STAFF

Set and clean dining room and bar before, during and after meal service. Assist servers as needed.

Job Tasks

1. Performs opening duties according to duty list

2. Assist servers in their tasks

3. Remove dirty dishes from tables, bring to dishwasher for cleaning,

separate plates, utensils and glassware at dish area

4. Set tables with silverware and napkins

5. Clean dining room areas as needed

6. Between seatings promptly clean tabletops, chairs and booths. Check

floor and clean as needed. Reset and arrange tabletop

7. Respond to guest requests immediately. Communicate guest requests to

server

8. Assist server as needed with food delivery, especially with large parties

and during peak periods

9. Thanks guests as they are leaving

10. Stock servers station with supplies

11. Alert servers of out of stock items

12. Collect trash from dining areas and kitchen after each serving period

13. Check and clean all bathrooms every half hour

14. Perform closing duties according to duty list

15. Attends staff meetings as required

Reports to: Restaurant Manager &/or Bar Manager

Supervises: No supervisory duties

Qualifications:

· No previous experience required

· Have a working knowledge of the language

• Ability to bend, reach and stoop
• Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
