The Business Analyst is responsible for bridging the gap between IT and the business using data analytics to assess processes, determine requirements, and deliver data-driven recommendations and reports to executives and stakeholders. This role involves a deep understanding of business processes, an analytical mindset, and the ability to communicate complex data insights in a clear and actionable manner.

1. Requirement Gathering and Analysis

• Work with stakeholders to understand their needs and gather detailed business requirements.
• Analyze and document business processes, systems, and data flows to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications for IT teams.

1. Data Analysis and Reporting

• Conduct detailed data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business decisions.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to present data insights to stakeholders.
• Utilize statistical methods and tools to interpret data sets and make data-driven recommendations.

1. Project Management

• Lead and manage projects from inception through to completion, ensuring all business requirements are met.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, marketing, and operations, to ensure successful project delivery.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.

1. Process Improvement

• Evaluate existing business processes and identify opportunities for automation and optimization.
• Recommend and implement changes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the quality of business operations.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, including flowcharts, SOPs, and user guides.

1. Stakeholder Communication

• Act as a liaison between business units and IT, ensuring clear and effective communication of requirements and changes.
• Facilitate meetings, workshops, and presentations to gather input, share findings, and obtain stakeholder buy-in.
• Provide training and support to end-users to ensure successful adoption of new systems and processes.

1. Quality Assurance

• Develop and execute test plans to ensure new systems and enhancements meet business requirements.
• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and coordinate with IT teams to address any issues or defects.
• Ensure solutions meet quality standards and are delivered on time and within budget.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in business analysis or a related role.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong understanding of business processes and principles.
• Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
