Preschool / Kindergarten teacher (Mandarin or Spanishspeaking) at smartizen.ca – Waterloo

Smartizen is the first early learning center in Ontario/Canada to conduct whole brain education for kids from 6 months to 6 YO. We are seeking a nurturing and experienced Full time Teacher to join our dynamic team. The Teacher will play a pivotal role in our classes. This position requires strong communication skills and a passion for early childhood education.

All classes are conducted in English and some part of reading to be taught in Mandarin or Spanish. Training will be provided. Working days will be Wednesday-Sunday. Monday and Tuesday are off days. ECE teachers or Kindergarten teachers are welcome to apply.

Your role as an instructor:

• Deliver lessons in accordance with Smartizen’s specially-designed teaching method and curriculum (right brain education methodology).
• Use a multisensory approach, integrate auditory, visual, and kinesthetic elements to greatly enhance children's learning.
• Help children strengthen their brain functions and develop important cognitive abilities during their formative preschool years.
• Establish and maintain good relationships with students and parents.
• Take part in curriculum innovation and development
• Support company’s marketing functions

Qualifications:

• At least 3+years of previous experience working with babies and toddlers as an enrichment teacher, childcare or Montessori schools.
• Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (preferred).
• Possess good communication and classroom management skills.
• Fluency in Mandarin or Spanish is compulsory
• Passion for teaching and nurturing young minds.
• Positive and cheerful vibes.
• Able to work 3 weekdays and 2 weekends (Saturday and Sunday) per week. 9am to 7pm per day in our Waterloo center (in person)
