Position Overview:

As a Warehouse and Delivery Specialist at Ultra Modern Pool & Patio, you'll play a crucial role in our operations by managing inventory, preparing orders for delivery, and transporting merchandise to customer locations and stores. You'll be responsible for maintaining the organization and cleanliness of our warehouse, safely operating delivery vehicles, and providing outstanding service to our customers throughout the delivery process. With your attention to detail and commitment to excellence, you'll help us uphold our reputation for superior quality and reliability.

Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments of hot tubs, patio furniture, and related products, ensuring accuracy and completeness of orders.
• Organize and maintain inventory in the warehouse, including shelving, labeling, and tracking stock levels to facilitate efficient order fulfillment.
• Prepare merchandise for delivery, including loading and securing items onto delivery vehicles according to safety standards and delivery schedules.
• Safely operate delivery vehicles, such as trucks or vans, to transport merchandise to customer locations and stores in a timely manner, following designated routes and adhering to traffic laws.
• Provide exceptional customer service during delivery, including courteous communication with customers, careful handling of merchandise, and prompt resolution of any delivery issues or concerns.
• Install and place hot tubs, patio furniture, etc. at customer locations, following manufacturer instructions and ensuring proper functioning and alignment.
• Complete delivery paperwork, including invoices, delivery confirmations, and customer signatures, accurately documenting all transactions and ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on delivery vehicles, including fueling, cleaning, and reporting any mechanical issues or repairs needed.
• Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including inventory counts, restocking shelves, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in logistics or related field is a plus.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to safely operate delivery vehicles.
• Prior experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or delivery services preferred.
• Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.
• Forklift experience preferred but not required.
