Position Summary:

The APLD Intern is a part time, temporary position designed to provide students with hands on experience during the summer (May to August 2026) to support Applied Digital’s business operations. Interns are matched to teams based on their interests, background, and organizational needs and contribute to meaningful, project based work across departments such as IT, Accounting/Finance, Legal, Compliance, Marketing, Operations, and Development.

This role offers exposure to APLD’s cross functional, collaborative environment, with opportunities to build foundational business and technical skills, receive mentorship, and gain insight into how digital tools, processes, and teams work together to support APLD’s mission. The internship is primarily based in Dallas, Texas, with remote participation available depending on team and project needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide project and operational support within assigned APLD department(s).

• Execute assigned tasks and deliverables that advance team objectives and support organizational priorities.

• Proactively identify next steps, risks, or gaps and communicate them to supervisors in a timely manner.

• Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality in accordance with APLD policies.

• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and professionalism in all work products, including documentation, reports, and presentations.

• Support continuous improvement efforts by contributing ideas to enhance processes, tools, or workflows.

• Assist with documentation and organization, including maintaining trackers, SOPs, meeting notes, reports, and presentation materials.

• Collaborate professionally with team members and internal stakeholders across functions.

• Participate in intern programming, training sessions, mentorship/buddy activities, and team meetings.

Capstone Requirement

• Prepare and deliver an individual capstone internship presentation at the conclusion of the program, synthesizing project work, key learnings, and contributions, and presenting outcomes and insights to APLD leaders and stakeholders

Basic Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program, or a recent graduate (within the past 12 months)

• Available to work part time for the full duration of the internship program

• Ability to work primarily from Dallas, Texas, or remotely, depending on team needs

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), including creating documents, spreadsheets, and presentations

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and professionally

• Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and follow established processes

• Willingness to learn new tools, systems, and methods in a professional environment

• Ability to work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders across departments

• Professional judgment and discretion when handling confidential or sensitive information

Physical Requirements:

• Able to remain in a seated position for an extended period and to lift and carry up to 15 lbs. (office manuals, case notebooks, case files, case materials, standard boxes, report binders, etc.) as needed.
