The Opportunity

We are seeking a Tech Support Specialist with a strong technical mindset and a customer-first approach. In this role, you will act as the bridge between our sales, engineering, and customers, ensuring seamless project execution and exceptional support throughout the entire customer lifecycle.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a background in engineering, construction, or technical support who enjoys problem-solving, communication, and working in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical guidance to customers and internal sales teams on pre-engineered steel building systems
  • Act as a liaison between sales and engineering to ensure accurate project execution
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, SMS, and messaging platforms
  • Assist customers with product details, components, and assembly processes
  • Troubleshoot installation or setup issues with clear, step-by-step support
  • Clarify order details, timelines, and specifications
  • Document all interactions accurately in the CRM system
  • Collaborate with engineering, logistics, and sales to resolve complex issues
  • Escalate technical or safety concerns when necessary
  • Maintain a professional, solutions-oriented approach in all interactions

Qualifications

  • 1+ year of experience in technical support or customer service (phone/chat preferred)
  • Background in engineering, construction, or a related technical field is strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with pre-engineered or prefabricated steel buildings is an asset
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read drawings, manuals, or assembly instructions
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Nice to Have

  • Experience reading building drawings
  • Exposure to pricing, drafting, or project coordination
  • Familiarity with engineering or design software
