POSITION SUMMARY
- Functions in scrub role and as assistant to surgeon during surgical procedures. The surgical technologist may be assigned other functions as deemed necessary.

EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS, TRAINING and EXPERIENCE:

Minimum Required:

Graduate of an approved program in Surgical Technology, and certified as a Surgical Technician.

BLS certification; recertification required annually.

Must be competent to perform in all areas of surgical services.
