Responsibilities

A Supervisor within the Staff Augmentation department leads a team of technical professionals dedicated to delivering exceptional support to key clients while ensuring strong alignment between service delivery, sales execution, and financial performance. Success in this position requires innovative problem-solving abilities, adaptive thinking, and a strong understanding of both operational and commercial drivers. In this role, the Supervisor serves as a key partner to the sales organization, guiding sales account executives through the staff augmentation sales cycle and supporting the successful positioning of staffing solutions. The Supervisor plays an active role in qualifying new staffing opportunities by leading discovery sessions with key client stakeholders and internal sales partners to assess technical requirements, scope, and delivery expectations. This multifaceted role encompasses oversight of team performance, coaching and development, issue resolution, and acting as a liaison between staff, senior management, sales leadership, and NWN's end client. The Supervisor is also accountable for managing contract financials to ensure profitability aligns with NWN's managed services revenue targets and business goals. This includes ensuring consistency, accurate, and timely billing of all resources across the client portfolio. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, possess in-depth knowledge of operational and financial processes, and maintain a results-oriented approach. The primary objective of this role is to promote productive operations that drive customer satisfaction, profitability, and long-term organizational growth.

  • Proven experience leading and managing teams of technical or professional services resources in a staff augmentation, managed services, or services delivery environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with sales teams, including guiding account executives through the staff augmentation sales cycle and supporting opportunity development.
  • Strong understanding of contract financial management, including margin management, revenue tracking, and ensuring profitability aligns with managed services revenue targets.
  • Manage a team of technical workers including regular 1:1 meeting to discuss successes, challenges and opportunities
  • Proactively manage customer experience across the lifecycle of our core offerings.
  • Work with the sales team to help communicate the value associated with staff augmentation on client calls, perform pre-sale presentations on the offering and value of NWN’s staff augmentation services and management.
  • Identify client needs and work with partners and recruiters to interview and hire the right people for the right job.
  • Implement and enforce systems, policies and procedures as needed
  • Provide guidance and support to the team directly or through connections with other members of our organization.
  • Monitor and approve time entry, expenses, and time-off requests.


Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree Preferred
  • Proven experience managing or supervising a team of technical professionals, preferably in a staff augmentation or IT services environment. Required
  • Ability to clearly convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences, supported by strong written and verbal communication.
  • Demonstrated capacity to analyze challenges, develop creative solutions, and troubleshoot issues proactively
  • Time Management and Organizational Skills: Excellent ability to prioritize, multi-task, and keep track of various responsibilities and deadlines.
  • High level of independence and skill in developing trust with clients and team members, advocating for their needs, and maintaining positive relationships
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with others, adapt to changing circumstances, and work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
  • Proficiency in Service Now Product Suite. Preferred
  • ITIL Foundation Certification Preferred

Work Locations:

  • Remote: Job duties are performed from the employee’s home home or another approved remote location. Remote employees are expected to maintain productivity, communication, and availability during agreed-upon working hours, in alignment with company policies.
