About the Role:
The Auditor position. is responsible for reconciling, verifying and auditing product and equipment stock within the site location. The auditor verifies that the product selected is correct. Verify product location in some cases. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Respond to inquiries from management, supervision, on target selectors and target stores.
- Scan and completely break down and audit pallets then rebuild pallets.
- Finding errors then filling out the correct documentation.
- Communicate with management when errors are found in an audit.
- Being able to navigate between two computer systems to enter information.
- Walking in the warehouse to audit selectors for two or more hours.
- Do requested audits without notice on a selector from the customer.
- Must be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Perform daily safety checks on the electric pallet jack.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
- Electric Pallet Jack experience is a plus
- Basic Math Skills required to count boxes
- Ability to read and interpret documents
- Willing to work in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn material movement procedures
- Strong attention to detail and quality conscious
- Capable of following written and verbal instructions
- Communication skills, (reading and writing) required
- Self-Motivated
- Expertise with Power Equipment
- Ability to work various shifts
- Ability to move 100 pounds of product
- Must be punctual and have excellent attendance to meet the client’s needs
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School or GED preferred2+ years of experience in warehousing preferred but willing to trainMust have computer skills and be proficient in navigating computers
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Mobility to work in a standard warehouse setting and work with and around a variety of equipment, parts, and inventory
- Strength, stamina, and mobility to perform medium physical work. May be required to move items weighing up to 100 pounds
- Dexterity of hands to perform the tasks required of the position
- Must be physically strong, agile and undeterred by adverse climatic conditions
- Must be able to stand, walk, sit, bend, reach and move continuously. Must be on your feet and move for at least 8 hours/ day. for extended periods of time
MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to deal with people under adverse circumstances
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently in high stress situations
- Patience and take time when operating the machine.
- Problem-solving skills. Must be able to think quickly and creatively to solve issues that arise.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Warehouse setting. Subject to noise and exposed to extreme cold. Fast paced environment. Maybe required to work longer hours or weekends until the job/project is done. This position is located at our client site BGDC Distribution.
PAY:
- Auditors - 135 per case
- Lead Auditors - 23.00 per hour plus .4 cents a case
SHIFTS:
1ST SHIFT
- MONDAY - FRIDAY ((8:30 - 5PM))
- TUESDAY - SATURDAY ((8:30 - 5PM))
2ND SHIFT
- MONDAY - FRIDAY ((5 - 1:30AM))
- TUESDAY - SATURDAY ((5 - 1:30AM))
