CNC Lathe Machinist/Setup at Crispin Valve – Berwick, Pennsylvania

Summary:

Crispin Valve has immediate opportunities for experienced machinist. This role is responsible for producing machined parts by operating a machine, maintaining quality and safety standards, keeping records, and maintaining equipment and supplies.

Responsibilities:

· Able to program, setup, and run Mazak and ProtoTRAK CNC lathes

· Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and engineering information

· Create and modify Mazak programs at the machine, as well as edit G code

· Capable of holding tight tolerances

· Load proper tooling and parts into machines

· Work with steel, stainless steel, aluminum, bronze, and other materials as needed

· Check accuracy of work against drawings and specifications

· Understanding how to use and read a ruler/caliber/gauges

· All other duties as required

Required Experience:

· 3+ years CNC turning experience

· Ability to hold tolerances up to .0005”

· Excellent attention to detail
