Job Summary:
Maplehurst Farms is seeking dependable, professional drivers with a Class A CDL (manual transmission required) to join our team. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service to our customers and are looking for individuals who share our commitment to safety, reliability, and professionalism.
We are currently hiring full-time drivers to haul grain locally in a safe, punctual, and efficient manner. This position offers steady, year-round work.
Drivers can expect to work 11–14 hours per day from December through August. During peak harvest season (September through November), extended hours are required, including weekends. Harvest schedules typically include up to 14-hour days, six days per week (Monday–Saturday), with additional Sunday hours ranging from 7–12 hours.
Compensation is based on a percentage of load revenue, with rates determined by experience and tenure.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Candidates must have a current Class A CDL and valid Medical Card. Ideal candidates already hold their Tanker Endorsement or able to obtain within the first year of employment. Must have a clean driving record that would not preclude being insured. A work history in the Agricultural industry is preferred.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Safely operate trucks to transport and deliver products
- Climb in and out of the truck and access various parts of the truck and trailer as needed
- Sit for extended periods of time while driving
- Manually roll and unroll trailer tarps
- Assist with loading and unloading as required
- Communicate clearly with logistics and follow load instructions, including directions received via CB radio
- Adapt to changing routes and schedules as determined by logistics based on business needs
- Maintain on-road efficiency by monitoring traffic and road conditions
- Complete pre- and post-trip inspections using a tablet-based system
- Learn and effectively use mobile applications and technology
- Operate equipment efficiently to optimize fuel usage (miles per gallon)
- Promptly report any equipment or mechanical issues through the designated tablet application
- Accurately complete and submit all required documentation daily, including load sheets, driver reports, and scale tickets
- Keep assigned truck (interior and exterior) clean and presentable, including periodic washing of tractor and trailer
- Maintain a professional, courteous, and team-oriented attitude at all times
- Comply with all company policies and federal and state regulations, including DOT, OSHA, drug testing, and maintenance requirements
- Attend all required safety meetings
- Perform other duties as assigned
