Girl Scouts Louisiana East is hiring Community Program Presenters to bring exciting programs to girls in schools and community settings. This is a great role for college students, recent high school grads, education majors, camp staff, youth leaders, and anyone who enjoys working with kids and keeping things upbeat and engaging.

If you are energetic, dependable, organized, and comfortable leading groups of young girls K-12, this could be a great fit for you!

What Youll Do (overview):
  • Lead fun, interactive Girl Scout programs for girls at schools and community sites
  • Use provided lesson plans and materials to deliver engaging activities
  • Set up, transport, and organize supplies for each program
  • Create a positive, welcoming environment for girls from diverse backgrounds
  • Track attendance, surveys, and other program information
  • Communicate with school staff, site contacts, and supervisors
  • Keep your schedule updated and stay flexible as programs are assigned
  • Support outreach efforts that help more girls connect with Girl Scouts
What Were Looking For:
  • At least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Experience working with youth through camps, tutoring, childcare, schools, churches, or community programs preferred
  • Comfortable speaking in front of groups
  • Friendly, professional, and dependable
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic computer skills
  • Valid drivers license and proof of insurance required
  • Must pass a background check
Additional Information: Successful candidates must pass a criminal background check as part of the pre-employment hiring process.
