About the Role
As a Room Attendant at Summit, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Your primary responsibility is to maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of guest rooms and public areas, contributing to the overall guest experience. You will adhere to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, ensuring that every room is prepared to perfection. Additionally, you will report any maintenance issues and ensure all supplies are stocked and readily available. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence directly impact guest satisfaction and the reputation of our establishment.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role preferred
Preferred Qualifications
Certification in hospitality or related field
Experience in a luxury hotel or resort setting
Responsibilities
Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas, according to established standards
Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities to ensure a fresh and welcoming environment for guests
Restock supplies such as toiletries, coffee, and other items to meet guest needs
Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly
Assist in maintaining cleanliness in public areas, including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms
Skills
Strong attention to detail to ensure every room meets high cleanliness standards
Time management skills to efficiently complete tasks while maintaining quality
Effective communication skills to report issues and collaborate with team members
Familiarity with cleaning products and equipment to perform tasks safely and effectively (preferred)
Customer service-oriented mindset to anticipate guest needs and contribute to a positive experience
