Job Title: Mechanical Assembly Technician

Department or Division: Operations - CS Medical LLC

Reports To: Production Manager

Job Summary:


CS Medical LLC is seeking a mechanical assembly technician with 1-5 years’ experience, who is interested in continuing to develop his or her skills in a dynamic work environment. CS Medical manufactures an automated TEE probe cleaner disinfector, and is a market leader in infection control and prevention in this market space. We are seeking to expand our production team as we continue to develop our TEE Complete Care system and increase our product offerings in infection control. We are seeking a self-motivated individual with experience in assembly of complex electro-mechanical devices.

Located in Creedmoor, CS Medical is a short, low-traffic commute from Raleigh and Durham, and just a few miles from Falls Lake State Recreation Area.


As part of the production team, the Technician will be required to assemble electro-mechanical devices by following work instructions and written departmental procedures. Proper documentation skills are required for recording test results and lot information. Basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills are desirable, as is demonstrable skill with common assembly and fabrication tools and processes.


Job Duties


Assemble electro-mechanical devicesPerform testing, complete test reports and record informationCreate and maintain device history file recordsTroubleshoot mechanical and electrical issuesFollow production and departmental proceduresWork in and contribute to a team environmentAct in a safe and professional manner


Minimum Qualifications


GED, technical diploma and/or relevant experienceMinimum of one year mechanical assembly experienceMust be able to do hands-on building of assemblies and be comfortable in the use of basic power tools.Demonstrable skills and experience in basic troubleshootingMust be able to work well in a team environment as well as independently with little supervisionMust be detail oriented and have good communication and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications


Three to Five years of mechanical assembly experienceExperience working in regulated industry (medial device, telecommunications, etc.)Experience with complex electro-mechanical assemblies

Work orders are completed in a timely manner and deadlines are consistently achievedDocumentation is consistent and correctFosters a team environment to ensure corporate goals are achievedMaintains a safe and professional work environmentReporting to the Production Manager


Terms of employment:


This is a full-time, non-exempt, hourly position.

Hours:


The general hours shall be 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday with an hour break for lunch. Paid breaks are also included.

Work Environment:


Work is regularly performed in office, production floor, and warehouse environments.


Physical Demands:


The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee is frequently required to stand and/or walk. The employee must occasionally lift, carry, push or pull up to 120 pounds.
