Staff Product Manager, Eligibility and Payments

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Staff Product Manager, Eligibility and Payments in the United States.

This role offers the opportunity to lead the strategy and execution of a critical product suite focused on eligibility verification, prior authorization, and payments workflows. You will design end-to-end experiences across patient, payer, and EHR touchpoints, balancing automation and human-in-the-loop processes to optimize revenue cycle efficiency. The position requires strong cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Design, Operations, and Customer Success teams to deliver measurable business outcomes while ensuring compliance and operational reliability. You will define KPIs, guide experimentation, and translate complex real-world workflows into scalable, user-centered solutions. This is a high-impact role where your decisions directly affect operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and financial outcomes in a regulated environment. Ideal candidates thrive in fast-paced, data-driven settings and are motivated by solving complex workflow challenges.

Accountabilities:
  • Own the vision, roadmap, and delivery for Eligibility, Prior Authorization, and Payments product capabilities, covering payer connectivity, workflow automation, and operational controls
  • Design and optimize core revenue-cycle experiences, including eligibility checks/re-checks, benefits visibility, prior authorization initiation and tracking, tasking and handoffs, payment estimation, collection, and exception handling
  • Conduct customer discovery and UX research with revenue cycle, front desk, referrals, and care operations teams to turn complex processes into simple, resilient workflows
  • Define KPIs, track performance, and run experiments to identify workflow bottlenecks and improve key metrics such as approval turnaround time, denial rates, and time-to-collect
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Security, Legal/Compliance, Support, Sales, Marketing) to ensure scalable, compliant integrations and successful go-to-market readiness
  • Deliver measurable outcomes including improved eligibility pass rates, reduced denial rates, faster prior authorization, and enhanced payment collection while maintaining compliance and trust
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of product management experience, including building and scaling Eligibility, Prior Authorization, and/or Payments products or adjacent workflow automation platforms in regulated environments
  • BA/BS degree required; strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive decisions
  • SQL skills highly preferred; experience analyzing complex operational and product data
  • Experience designing and managing AI/LLM-based tools, including prompt design, agentic automation, human escalation, and safety guardrails
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable operating in a lean, fast-paced product environment
  • Proven ability to write clear PRDs, sequence complex product deliveries, and drive projects from discovery to measurable impact
  • Experience launching differentiated B2B software, preferably in healthcare, with focus on compliance, operational reliability, and customer outcomes
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary: $200,000—$240,000 OTE USD, plus bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits
  • Health coverage: 99% of employee and 85% of dependent premiums covered
  • 401(k) retirement plan and company equity options
  • Flexible time off and work-life balance support
  • Wellness programs and discounted perks
  • Opportunity to work on high-impact product initiatives that directly affect patients, providers, and revenue cycle efficiency
  • Inclusive and supportive work environment, committed to diversity, equity, and accessibility
