Summer Intern

This is a 10-week paid internship without benefits.

Candidate must be at least 16 years of age. High school or college student preferred.

Under the direct supervision of the Engineering Director, the intern groundskeeper will work side by side with the primary groundskeeper. This person will be responsible for assisting with the upkeep of the exterior grounds of the designated campuses and minor maintenance of the equipment that is used. Duties include mowing and trimming the grass, watering the landscape, picking up and disposal of any debris or trash on the campuses, and spraying weeds and grass in unwanted areas. These are general duties, but other tasks may be assigned. The intern groundskeeper’s work assignments will be determined by weather conditions which may vary frequently. This person needs to be comfortable operating gas-powered equipment.
