About the Role:

The Lube Technician plays a critical role in maintaining vehicle performance and safety by performing routine lubrication and maintenance services. This position ensures that vehicles operate smoothly by applying lubricants to engines, chassis, and other moving parts, preventing wear and tear. The Lube Tech is responsible for conducting basic inspections, identifying potential mechanical issues, and communicating findings to service advisors or mechanics. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and efficient time management to serve customers promptly. Ultimately, the Lube Technician contributes to customer satisfaction by delivering reliable and thorough vehicle maintenance services.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Basic knowledge of automotive systems and lubrication procedures.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various physical positions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
• Previous experience (minimum 3 months) as a Lube Technician or in a similar automotive maintenance role.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification or equivalent training.
• Familiarity with computerized service tracking systems.
• Basic mechanical skills and understanding of vehicle diagnostics.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Perform oil changes, lubrication, and fluid top-offs according to manufacturer specifications and company standards.
• Inspect vehicles for leaks, worn parts, and other issues during routine service and report findings to the service team.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, tools, and equipment to ensure a safe and efficient environment.
• Assist in basic vehicle maintenance tasks such as replacing filters, checking tire pressure, and changing wiper blades.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members to provide updates on service status and vehicle condition.
