Technologist (US) - SC/A at Willis-Knighton Health System – Shreveport, Louisiana

Willis Knighton is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to work in our highly specialized Regional Perinatal Group office. Under the supervision of the attending Maternal Fetal Medicine physicians, the Ultrasonographer will perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations of high-risk OB patients. The candidate must have at least 3 years of obstetrical ultrasound experience and be willing to learn specialized scanning techniques of both the maternal abdomen, pelvis, fetus and fetal heart. Candidates will be required to use GE ViewPoint reporting software, maintain pertinent information on patients, and have additional responsibilities, including morning patient hospital rounds and consultations.

The candidate must be a graduate of an accredited school of ultrasound. The applicant must be board certified or registered in Obstetrical and Gynecology, as set forth by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS).
