Job Description
The Data Analyst plays a critical role in transforming complex, multi-source data into actionable insights that support both strategic and day-to-day decision-making across the business. This role is responsible for building and owning key dashboards, reports, and analytical frameworks that provide visibility into performance and enable leaders to make informed, data-driven decisions.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with business acumen and a consultative mindset. They are comfortable working in ambiguous environments, translating complex questions into structured analyses, and clearly communicating insights to stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain enterprise dashboards and reports using BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) to provide clear visibility into business performance.
- Define and standardize KPIs, metrics, and calculation logic to ensure consistency across the organization.
- Lead complex analyses across sales, customer behavior, pricing, margins, operations, or inventory, depending on business needs.
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities within large, multi-source datasets.
- Develop predictive and scenario analyses to support planning and decision-making.
- Support pricing strategy through analysis of margins, customer behavior, product mix, discounting, and historical pricing performance.
- Write advanced SQL and build analytical models to support business decisions.
- Build and maintain complex Excel models and analytical tools used for business decision-making.
- Partner with IT and business leaders to improve data quality and data pipelines.
- Translate complex business questions into clear insights and recommendations.
- Present findings and influence decisions at the senior leadership level.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Information Systems, or related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in data analytics, business analytics, or business intelligence roles.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (complex modeling, data manipulation, automation).
- Strong SQL experience (complex queries, joins, aggregations, performance optimization).
- Deep experience with BI and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
- Proven ability to deliver insights that drive business decisions and measurable outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with sales, financial, supply chain, or operational data.
- Familiarity with ERP, CRM, WMS, or ecommerce platforms.
- Experience in high-SKU, multi-channel, or distribution-based environments.
- Exposure to forecasting, demand planning, or pricing analytics.
