As a Cook in our Assisted Living and Memory Care Program, you’ll do more than just prepare food — you’ll become part of our residents’ daily lives, sharing stories, building relationships, and serving meals made with care. Your cooking will nourish their bodies, and your kindness will lift their spirits.

What You’ll Do:

Prepare and serve well-balanced, tasty meals using planned menus and standardized portion sizesAccommodate special dietary needs including low sodium, diabetic, vegetarian, and texture-modified dietsEnsure meals are ready and served on time — because nobody likes a cold dinner!Maintain a clean and safe kitchen, following proper sanitation and food safety guidelinesAssist with ordering, inventory, and cost control to keep the kitchen running smoothlyVisit with residents in the dining room to gather feedback and foster a welcoming dining experienceCollaborate with the Head Chef and other team members to continuously improve our food serviceWhat We’re Looking For:

A caring heart and a team-oriented attitudePrevious experience as a cook, ideally with 2+ years serving large groups or in a care settingAbility to lift up to 30 lbs regularly, and stand/walk for long periodsComfortable preparing meals for therapeutic diets (bonus if you’ve done this in a senior care setting)Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to follow both recipes and safety proceduresMust be able to pass a background checkWhy Join Harmony Homes?
