Manager, Early Career & College Recruiting
We’re seeking a Manager, Early Career & College Recruiting, to build and lead our early talent strategy, including campus partnerships and internship/co-op programming. In this role, you’ll strengthen our relationships with colleges and universities, elevate our employer brand at campus events, and deliver a high-quality candidate and intern experience from outreach through conversion to full-time hires. You’ll collaborate closely with the broader Talent Acquisition leadership team and business stakeholders to forecast needs, execute recruiting plans, and use data to continuously improve outcomes. As the Manager, Early Career & College Recruiting, a typical day may include the following:
- Coordinating outreach and event logistics with campus partners like career services, student organizations, faculty, and alumni networks.
- Leading RWJBH’s onsite presence at our target schools, including career fairs, student engagement events, and classroom presentations.
- Sourcing and engaging early career talent through campus platforms, events, and targeted campaigns to build strong candidate pipelines.
- Planning and delivering internship/co-op program touchpoints (communications, learning sessions, feedback, and conversion planning).
- Developing college recruiting and program metrics (pipeline health, event outcomes, intern performance, and conversion) and adjusting plans accordingly.
- You demonstrate the capability of leading the enterprise-wide approach to college and early career recruitment.
- You thrive as a brand ambassador and enjoy forging relationships through face-to-face interactions.
- You understand how to work with talent acquisition colleagues to connect early career talent pipelines to broader recruitment efforts
- You can consistently lead initiatives to achieve positive outcomes and results by leveraging indirect reporting relationships.
- You excel at harnessing data to develop and guide programmatic decisions and strategies.
- You operate through the lens of creating a strong candidate experience and look for ways to simplify and streamline workflows.
To be considered for this opportunity, you must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resources, Business, or a related field. A minimum of 3 years of current experience in campus recruiting, early career talent acquisition, university relations or a related role is required. Demonstrated program/project management skills, excellent communication and relationship-building ability, and comfort presenting to groups are all required. The willingness and ability to regularly travel to target schools and recruiting events on a consistent basis is required. Proven experience in direct people management is also required. Previous experience building or scaling internship and/or co-op programs is preferred
