Parts Hub Dispatcher

Jim Hudson Automotive Group is hiring a motivated and enthusiastic Parts Hub Dispatcher to coordinate and schedule the timely and efficient delivery of auto parts from a central hub to customers and other stores. Key Responsibilities

  • Dispatch & Routing: Schedule and dispatch drivers for deliveries and pickups, optimizing routes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Monitoring & Communication: Monitor the progress of drivers along their routes and communicate effectively with drivers, store personnel, and customers to provide updates or resolve issues.
  • Order Coordination: Ensure orders are accurately pulled and ready for delivery by the scheduled time.
  • Documentation & Records: Ensure all proper documentation, including invoices and delivery confirmations, is completed and accurately maintained.
  • Customer Service: Receive and resolve customer requests or complaints regarding delivery services.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Track vehicle maintenance schedules, log daily mileage, and report any issues or delays.
  • Additional Duties: May assist with pulling parts during peak times.
Requirements:

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: Previous experience in dispatching, logistics, or the automotive retail industry is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong organizational, communication and problem-solving skills are essential. Proficiency with Reynolds & Reynolds, GPS tracking software and Microsoft Office programs is required.
  • Abilities: Must be able to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and be functionally literate to identify part numbers and line codes accurately.
  • Understands, keeps abreast of, and complies with federal, state and local regulations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know etc.
