JOB SUMMARY: This position involves strategic planning and execution of visual merchandising techniques to attract customers and promote products. The Merchandiser will collaborate with store management to maintain optimal inventory levels and ensure that displays are well-stocked and organized.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement visual merchandising strategies that align with brand standards and seasonal promotions.
- Regularly assess and adjust product displays to ensure they are appealing and effectively showcase merchandise.
- Remove items that are out-of-code or not selling per customer guidelines.
- Organize, rotate and stock shelves during each store visit
- Ensure all authorized items are tagged and in the appropriate location and set to shelf standards
- Ability to travel throughout assigned territories on a regular and frequent basis.
- Collaborate with store management to manage inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of stock.
- Utilize hand trucks and other equipment to transport and arrange merchandise throughout the store.
- Increase promotional effectiveness through strategic placement of appropriate POS material.
- Monitor sales performance and customer feedback to refine merchandising approaches and enhance the shopping experience.
- Other duties as assigned/needed.

Education and Experience Requirement:
- High school diploma or equivalent and previous retail/grocery merchandising experience required.
- Valid driver’s license and insurance required. Ability to travel frequently throughout assigned territory.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Superior customer service and interpersonal skills required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and excellent organization skills
- Ability to operate and maintain vehicle in a safe manner at all times.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced, high-volume environment.
