Key Responsibilities:

- Assess, monitor, and treat patients with respiratory conditions such as asthma, COPD, and other cardiopulmonary diseases

- Administer respiratory therapy treatments, including oxygen therapy, mechanical ventilation, and aerosol medications

- Perform diagnostic tests such as pulmonary function tests and arterial blood gas analysis

- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans

- Educate patients and their families on respiratory health, medication use, and lifestyle modifications

- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, treatment plans, and progress notes

- Ensure the proper operation and maintenance of respiratory therapy equipment

Skills and Qualifications:

- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy or a related field

- Valid state licensure or certification as a Respiratory Therapist (e.g., RRT credential)

- Proven experience in a clinical respiratory therapy setting

- Strong knowledge of respiratory care procedures, equipment, and protocols

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in emergency situations
