Remote Product Owner for EDE Capabilities
This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Enhanced Direct Enrollment Product Owner - REMOTE. In this dynamic role, you will have the opportunity to influence healthcare enrollment processes by enhancing digital platforms that serve federal programs. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to prioritize product features and drive improvements. Accountabilities- Serve as the primary Product Owner for Enhanced Direct Enrollment (EDE) capabilities within a federal healthcare enrollment ecosystem.
- Act as the primary liaison between development teams and business/program teams, ensuring alignment on scope, priorities, and delivery expectations.
- Provide client engagement support as a point of contact after the Team Lead, participating in governance meetings, demos, and stakeholder sessions.
- Define, manage, and continuously prioritize the product roadmap for EDE functionality, balancing regulatory requirements, partner needs, and user experience improvements.
- Own and refine the product backlog, ensuring user stories are well-defined, testable, and aligned with business and compliance requirements.
- Translate complex healthcare policy, regulatory, and operational requirements into actionable epics, features, and user stories.
- Collaborate with engineering, UX/UI, QA, DevSecOps, and integration teams to support successful deployment of EDE capabilities across partner channels.
- Define and track post-launch optimization metrics, including enrollment conversion rates, application completion rates, user drop-off points, and partner integration performance.
- Use data-driven insights to identify enhancement opportunities and drive continuous improvement of live EDE services.
- Ensure compliance with federal healthcare regulations, security standards, privacy requirements, and accessibility standards.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Support release planning, deployment readiness, and stabilization activities for production environments.
- Bachelors degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 812+ years of experience in product management or product ownership roles.
- At least 5+ years of experience in healthcare, health insurance, or regulated government healthcare programs.
- Demonstrated experience working on digital enrollment systems, marketplaces, or consumer-facing healthcare platforms.
- Proven experience supporting federal or state government IT programs, preferably in healthcare eligibility or enrollment domains.
- Strong experience managing Agile product backlogs, roadmaps, and iterative delivery.
- Hands-on experience supporting system deployments and post-launch optimization efforts.
- Experience writing detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and maintaining product documentation.
- Familiarity with APIs, data exchange standards, and system integrations across partner ecosystems.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including executive-level engagement.
- Ability to balance deployment demands with long-term product optimization.
- Strong analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making capabilities.
- Ability to operate effectively in complex, regulated, and high-visibility environments.
- Proven ability to lead through influence across distributed cross-functional teams.
- US Citizenship or Permanent Residency required.
- Must reside in the Continental US.
